ON LETTING GO OF CONTROL

During the 1st trimester I really had to learn to extend myself some grace. After feeling extremely sick and really tired for months, I knew that i had to loosen the reigns of my plans in order to give my body the rest that it needed.

ON HOW BEING PREGNANT AFFECTS YOUR DECISION MAKING

I’ve learned to base decisions on how I desire my life to look once the baby arrives. I know that I want to spend as much time with her as possible and that i need to create a business that would allow me that time.

ON WHY I’M NOT PRESSED ABOUT PLANNING OUT MATERNITY LEAVE

While it may sound crazy, I’ve decided to take maternity leave day by day. I want to give myself time to heal without feeling rushed back into work. Will this change? Possibly. which is why I don’t feel the need to create a solid plan at this moment. it may be unconventional but it works for the season we are in.
