EP 82: Managing Multiple Brands & Showing Up Consistently with Kyshira Moffett
This week on the LOE Podcast I chat with Kyshira Moffett. Kyshira is an award winning serial entrepreneur, brand strategist, and author who specializes in helping ambitious women entrepreneurs package their expertise, brand their influence, and monetize their online presence. In this episode Kyshira and I chat about her early journey through corporate america and how her side-hustle led her into entrepreneurship, how she has been able to branch out from coaching other women entrepreneurs to also successfully launching her cosmetics line, Life of A Bombshell, how she is juggling multiple brands and in-person events without burning out and more.
KYSHIRA ON THE MOMENT THAT PUSHED HER FULLY INTO ENTREPRENEURSHIP
After helping friends with their resumes, Kyshira decided to go ahead and invest in a website and start listing her career development services. After she was hired by an entrepreneur to revamp her LinkedIn profile, she was referred to all of her friends. After that moment she realized that she enjoyed working for herself more than she did at her full-time job and decided to see what would happen if she began applying the strategies she was helping her client with into her own life.
the steps she took to help her take her business full-time
Kyshira says that it was really important for her to make the investment into hiring a coach who was currently where she wanted to be. She believes that investing in herself helped her to move out of her own way and also move past some of her money mindset issues.
ON WHY SHE DECIDED TO LAUNCH LIFE OF A BOMBSHELL COSMETICS
Kyshira has always had an interest and love for beauty since she was a little girl so she decided to do her research on what it would take for her to start her own line. Life of A Bombshell cosmetics is now a line for the everyday go-getter where she creates long lasting, great quality products offered at a reasonable price. After launching a Youtube video that explained how she launched her company, Kyshira received a ton of comments from women who were looking to do the same. Which also made her see there was another need for women looking to tap into that industry.
KYSHIRA’S ADVICE FOR ENTREPRENEURS WHO MAY BE FRUSTRATED WITH SLOW GROWTH
Kyshira starts with letting us know that embracing those difficult moments are what makes you and gives you the work ethic you need to continue. She also says that this is an opportunity to reevaluate what you’re doing to see if it’s really something that you’re willing to give your all to. Often times entrepreneurs say they are doing everything and nothing is working when in actuality they are not doing anything at all.
